Overview

Bikett is an offline-first indoor cycling game. We designed the app to work entirely without an account and without sending your personal data anywhere. The core app collects no personal information and requires no sign-in.

What we do NOT collect

— Name or password
— Location data
— Advertising identifiers
— Browsing or usage analytics
— Crash reports sent to third parties

What stays on your device

— Bluetooth sensor readings
— Workout and activity data
— FIT files you export
— App settings and preferences

Bluetooth Data

Bikett connects to Bluetooth cycling sensors (power meters, heart rate monitors, cadence sensors, speed sensors) to drive in-game speed and display real-time stats. All sensor readings are processed locally on your device and are never transmitted to any server. No Bluetooth device identifiers or sensor data are stored outside the app.

Optional Account Registration

An account is not required to use Bikett. If you choose to register with the Bikett dashboard to unlock optional cloud sync, we store the following on our servers:

— A generated device identifier
— Your email address (used only to send a one-time connection code)
— Any custom workouts you explicitly choose to sync
— No password is stored — authentication uses a one-time code sent to your email

We do not collect your name, password, or any other personally identifiable information beyond your email.

Activity Data

Your ride sessions, activity history, and exported FIT files are stored locally on your device. If you are registered with the dashboard, activity data may be optionally synced to our servers so you can access your history across sessions.

FIT files exported from Bikett are yours. We do not have access to files you export to third-party services (e.g., Strava, Garmin Connect).

No Ads, No Tracking

Bikett contains no advertising SDKs, no third-party analytics libraries, and no tracking pixels. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers. The app is 100% free and funded by the open-source community, not by advertising.
